Rent what you need from Big Wave Dave Surf Shop for your Oahu vacation and save yourself luggage fees and fear of breakage while traveling. In case you forgot any essential surf gear, we either rent it or sell it. Come in and check out our fully stocked surf shop in the heart of Waikiki. We are located across the street from the Duke Kahanamoku statue, behind the Hyatt Regency Hotel.

You will find over 100 surfboards to choose from, for all skill levels including an excellent selection of performance boards. We can also deliver right to your hotel. Call for delivery information and availability.

We always recommend a lesson before any surf or stand up paddleboard rental to help you get acclimated to the local conditions. If this is your first time, please ask for advice from the Big Wave Dave Staff.  

We offer beginner to advanced surfing lessons if you want to improve your form. We even have what you need for snorkeling or just relaxing on the beach. Check out our stock or stop by the store.

• Daily - 24 hours or till end of day (4:30PM)

• Weekly - 7 days

ALL rentals must be picked up by 4:00PM, last 2 hour rental at 2:30PM - due back by 4:30PM

Surf Lockers available for free with any rental of 2 days or more.

Stand up paddleboards are the latest water sport craze. Take a step on the Hawaiian side, and get a view of the ocean as if you were on a glass bottom boat. Observe and swim along a turtle or dolphin as you get a fantastic core workout. And for those who want to take it up a notch, you can always enjoy surfing the waves along the Waikiki beach coastline. You won't find stand up paddling like this anywhere else in the world.
